Cheap baby clothes are easy to make if you know how to sew. If you don't know how to sew than this project is a great one to learn with.
This sacque is made up with only a one piece pattern. Make yourself some graph paper with 1 inch blocks. You can use this tool (graph paper) to make some graph paper and then just print off the grid if you like.
This would be cheap baby clothes to
make up for charities also. There are many charities that could

To make patterns actual size, transfer diagrams as shown to large paper marked with 1" squares. One small square equals one 1" square.
MATERIAL ...
Terry Cloth Toweling: 18" wide - 5/g yd,;
J. & P. Coats Fine lawn Bias Trim in pink or blue;
Ribbon, to match Bias Trim - 3/4 yd.
DIRECTIONS FOR CUTTING .. .
Pattern - Lay straight center edge of Pattern No. IV on fold of paper to make whole pattern.
Terry Cloth -1 piece from pattern made from Pattern No. IV (lay shoulder edges on fold); to make front opening, cut down center of Sacque, shaping front neckline and bottom edge as in (Fig. 6).
DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING . . .
With wrong sides of fabric facing, sew 3/8” wide PLAIN SEAM. Trim to 1/8”. Press seam flat. Turn so right sides of fabric are facing. Sew through bothe layers 1/4” in from fold. This will encase all raw endges in the seam.
